Srđan Rajčević is the Minister of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society in the Government of the Republic of Srpska. Born in 1982 in Banja Luka, he graduated from Computer Science at City College at the University of Sheffield, after which he also graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Banja Luka, where he finished his master studies and earned the title of Master of Business Law. He worked at the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Srpska on the analysis of development of information technologies, and in 2008 he was named director of the Agency for Information Society of the Republic of Srpska and he held that position until being elected as the Minister of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society. As a co-author, he took part in the making of the Development Strategy of the E-Government of the Republic of Srpska from 2009 to 2012. He was the leader of the Working group for information technologies of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Srpska, and an arbitrator and consultant in numerous international ICT projects. He is a member of the surveillance team for the field of e-government in the Bureau for the public administration reform of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Republic of Srpska. He is the author of many expert and scientific papers in the field of legal aspects of telecommunications and information society and he attends numerous international scientific and expert conferences.
